FLS, etc 005

After sitting in my knitting basket for MONTHS waiting on me to sew on the buttons and sew the sleeves; my February Lady Sweater is FINALLY finished!!! Yay!!!

I don't actually like how it looks buttoned up; it looks too streched to me. I didnt actually plan on buttoning it @ all when I started knitting it. But like a dummy, I blindly followed the pattern and added the button holes, so I knew I would have to add buttons @ some point. Other mod's I made: Instead of 3/4 sleeves like all the others, mine is short sleeved. I also knit the sleeves flat and sewed them afterward. What do you think?

Knitting and Listening to Lady Gaga

Here's another picture of the finished Monkey socks. Aren't they pretty?

Right now I'm knitting a hobo bag in pics yet but I'm almost finished with the bag so it shouldnt be too long now.

NeedleSize: 2US Knit Picks sock needles
Yarn: Sweet Berry 100% merino yarn by White Willow (check them out on etsy!)
pattern: Monkey 2006 Winter Knitty

I went to my local WWKIP Day event and finished the toe on the second sock. I think it took me about 2 weeks give or take a few days to finish these. The pattern is easy to memorize; after you do that it just flys by!
