Today's Funny
A soldier ran up to a nun. Out of breath he asked, "Please, may I hide under your skirt. I'll explain later."
The nun agreed.
A moment later two Military Police ran up and asked, Sister, have you seen a soldier?"
The nun replied, "He went that way."
After the MP's ran off, the soldier crawled out from under her skirt and said, "I can't thank you enough Sister. You see, I don't want to go to Iraq.
The nun said, "I understand completely."
The soldier added, "I hope I'm not rude, but you have a great pair of legs!"
The nun replied,
"If you had looked a little higher, you would have seen a great pair of balls....I don't want to go to Iraq either."
The nun agreed.

morebuses
Erie is FILTHY with Canadian shoppers right now.
So we go out shopping on Black Friday and of course the shopping is C-R-A-Z-Y but thats not my rant. What is UP with Canadians who come over here to America and BYPASS New York to shop in PA?! I know the whole "no-tax-on-clothing" thing is exciting to them but isnt the Canadian dollar doing better than the American dollar? And since they are taking buses like these over here to shop, I mean how much do they pay to ride that bus? Isn't it about the same amount to ride the bus here to shop AS THE AMOUNT THAT YOU ARE SAVING IN TAXES? Someone let me know if I'm wrong. And to top it all off...THEY ARE BUYING UP EVERYTHING!!!! It's getting to the point where an American citizen like myself can't buy a decent pair of boots without tripping over 8 folks from the Great White North. I swear! If it aint the Yarn Harlot, I don't wanna have nothing to do with it. LOL Oh and maple candy...cause that stuff is GOOD!!!

Food For Thought...
"Properly practiced, knitting sooths the troubled spirit. And it doesn't hurt the untroubled spirit, either."

secretpal2
Check out another great secret pal gift!
My pal knows me REALLY well! Beautiful fushia sock yarn, bamboo sock needles (I HEART BAMBOO!!), and all sorts of Hello Kitty stuff. I'm going to use the Hello Kitty sticky notes for marking patterns in magazines so I don't ruin them and the other notes are going into my knitting bag. The soap smells wonderful. Thank you soooo much SP!!!
