Been doing a little knitting here and there.....these are the Hermione Socks
I have an entire folder of Harry Potter related knits in my Ravelry queue. Still trying to work thru a sock a month for this year....I think this makes 4 socks this year?

I can't remember the name of the yarn; I think it's Berroco sock yarn.

Busy, busy, busy!
Lot's of things going on around here @ Chez Dragonfly Lake Scents. We're gearing up for another season of craft shows and that doesn't leave alot of time for doing other things. But hey....that's a good reason, right? Here's some pics of the soap etc I've been making...
Chocolate Espresso Soap....
Coconut Citrus Soap....
I'v also been knitting a ton of things like market bags for the upcoming farmers markets I plan on camping out at this spring/summer.

Putting up before the snow flies....
The seasons are changing and fall is here. I'm in total nesting mode; cleaning house, putting the summer things away and canning up yummy things for when NO ONE wants to go out into the cold, etc. Over the last two weeks I've been pouring over one of my favorite canning blogs (Food In Jars) and shopping thru the last of the farmer's market. I've put up apple and pear butters so far....
This pic is actually Spiced Applesauce. I used freshly grated nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise and a good slug of apple cider in it.
I just love getting the crockpot out and making something wonderful! (Corny sounding, I know ;) Water bath canning is so simple and easy once you have all your equipment out and great produce. I like being able to see all the full gleaming jars and get a satisfied feeling when I know exactly whats in it, etc.
I ended up with a dozen pint jars of apple butter and 10 pints of pear butter. Up next is reg and tomitillo salsa.

Dog-o-matic v2.0
RJ's gonna FINALLY get a new sweater!!! It's actually done already and just awaiting buttons etc. I sewed it together and blocked it only to spill coffee on it. Doh! Poochie is also getting a matching one with the left over yarn. Twinsies!!!

Shetland Triangle Shawl
I knit the Shetland Triangle Shawl! Actually this is the second time I've knit it. The last time, it wasn't as big as I liked. I tried to unpicked the edging and re-knit a few more pattern repeats but I screwed it up so I ended up frogging it.
But now?! How's this??!!!
You can't beat me, shawl!!!
Details....
Yarn: Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn
Needles: Size 6 US Knitpicks harmony needles
I used the entire skein of yarn (plus a few yards for another skein to finish the bind-off.)
